This Becker yard had a real problem. Overgrowth had taken over, the grade was working against the property, and water wasn't going anywhere useful. That's the kind of situation where a single fix won't cut it - you need to tackle the drainage and the surface at the same time.

We started by clearing out the overgrowth and regrading the area so water would actually move away from the house. That step matters more than most people realize. Without the right grade, even the best drainage system is fighting an uphill battle - literally.

Once the ground was set, we laid fresh sod across the yard and lined the foundation bed with rock. The rock bed along the house serves a dual purpose - it looks clean and it helps move water away from the siding and foundation. No more pooling, no more soggy spots eating away at the lawn.

The French drain ties it all together. You can see the clean-out cap sitting flush in the yard - that's part of the underground system that captures and redirects water before it becomes a problem. It's the kind of detail that protects the property long after the job is done. Functional and out of the way.

A lot of yards just need a reset. Not a partial fix, but a full rethink of how water moves through the space. That's exactly what we did here - cleared it out, built it back right, and made sure it'll hold up.
